The Short High Impact Manifold (SHIM) is a second Manifold System within the Cabinet: The standard PBM Manifold covers the entire wash envelope, and a short ultra-powerful SHIM concentrates all the blasted energy into a lower profile for short wash loads. Both Manifolds are coupled together and oscillated by a common Drive. A Selector Valve diverts solution flow from one Manifold to the other. When the SHIM is deployed, because the nozzles are packed more closely together, 15 degree nozzles are utilized to increase the impact pressure by 67%. The SHIM is capable of removing carbon, paint and scale in short wash cycles. The SHIM Manifold system offers the advantage of having two different Washing Machines in one cabinet.
